Inception - A Movie that Makes me Think very Hard, even after watching the Movie...

Watched this movie on a Friday night.

It made me think a lot, so much so, I am still thinking about it after watching it for almost a week.

Frankly, until now I am still wondering about the ending. I guess it shows how successful the movie is.

The movie tells about Leonardo DiCaprio who is an expert in bringing the 'target' into a dream which leads to him telling Leonardo a secret. At first it tells of Leonardo who was continuously disturbed by his late wife, and then later more truth were disclosed of why he was going through all these...

The movie kept keeping the audience in suspenses, and there were just more and more riddles, questions coming out of everyone's head. One second you may have thought you solved the mystery but the next you may realize it's not really what you think it is.

But I like the part when Leonardo shared how he and his late wife had enjoyed building their own world in their dreamlands. It tells of many other people in this world, who chose to believe what they want despite the reality not as they think it is. Example, some will choose to selectively hear and accept what they think is the truth (and not what is the real truth).

Seriously, who in this world, likes to believe in the real truth? Most will choose to believe and do what they think is best for themselves.

And I think in the movie, Leonardo is the one who is still trapped in the dream, because he chose to believe the dreamworld is the real world. While his wife had already awaken from her sleep and tried every means to wake Leonardo up.

However, there is another alternate ending too, which tells of the kill-yourself to wake from your sleep method had failed and hence Leonardo himself ended up trapped in his sleep too.

And the biggest irony of it all is the Japanese man who hired Leonardo for the assignment so that he can be the new rising power. Instead, he ended up trapped in his sleep and lost everything.

Come to think of it, is it really worth it afterall?
